MoU signed between BAU and NME

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh and National Museum of Ethnology (NME), Osaka Japan at VC’s lounge on the university campus on Sunday November 3, 2019.

Professor Yoshida Kenji, Director-General of National Museum of Ethnology(NME), Osaka, in Japan and Professor Dr. Lutful Hassan Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh signed the MoU from their respective side at a ceremony.

Professor Dr. mohammad Anwar Hossain of  Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding,Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Dr.Arif Hasan Khan Robin, Head of the department and  Professor Sharif Ar-Raffi ,Assistant Professor Md Rasel of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Faculty of Agriculture, BAU, Din Mohammed Dinu, Deputy Director, Public Relations and Publications of BAU were present in the Signing ceremony on the occasion, among others.

The MoU aims to facilitate academic and research collaborations between the two institutions.According to the MoU, BAU and NME will exchange Joint research, training, publishing, exhibition projects, faculty members and experts.

Besides, both the institutions will share academic data, scientific information, intellectual MoU and properties, articles and publications.

BAU Vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Lutful Hassan thanked the NME authorities for signing the hoped that both the institutions as well as the nation would be highly benefited by the initiative.
